Summertime spazziness

Howdy! I wanted to let you all know that I put a new tab up there at the top of the page titled Coming Soon! Since I’m getting random questions all over the land about when Frayed is coming out and what I’m working on now…I thought I’d, like, y’know, tell you.

Also, I’m not going to be around a whole lot this summer – I’ve got books to write, kids that need me to drive them to swimming lessons and kiss their popsicle smeared faces, I’m going to my 20th high school reunion, I’m running a 200 mile relay race, getting divorced, CrossFitting like a crazy woman, and generally relaxing in my off time and not worrying about blogging. So, you’ll hear from me a couple of times with regards to some fun blog hops I’m involved in and if anything over-the-top awesome happens. Otherwise, see you guys in September.

I am a weirdo and decided to release two very different books within a couple of months of each other. So, I’d like to thank everyone that participated in my 3rd Indieversary celebration/ FOUND book blitz…and now direct your attention to CROSSING, which will be out on Mother’s Day – 5/12/2013. The new blurb is a tad smexier – I didn’t want people thinking all Liam and Dani did was hold hands and kiss in the street.

You can blame RaShelle Workman for this next bit. She told me about picmonkey.com and I’ve been a photo teaser makin’ fool ever since. I revealed this one the other day:

I thought I’d share one more with you today and then I’ll be posting them twice a week from now until the 12th.

I also have an idea brewing for a funny/weird/embarrassing (to me) CROSSING promo that would involve interpretive dance. Let’s just say, someone, might be infamous for her interpretive dance skillz and that someone might post a video of her most epic routine on YouTube if she sells 1000 copies of CROSSING in it’s first week.

Keep that in mind and tell your friends. (It’s going to be only 99 cents for the first couple of weeks anyhow! A steal!)

Yay! It’s INDIEgiving week!

I have so much to be THANKFUL for this year. My dad recently had a massive heart attack and a quadruple bypass – so scary, especially considering that we don’t have a history of heart attacks in our family and never expected it to happen.

He’s doing great now! He’s at a rehab facility and will get to come home in time for Thanksgiving. Like I told Nikki Jefford, it’s the stuff Lifetime Holiday Movies are made of.

Despite what happened to my dad, this year has been pretty great. One of the best things about 2012 and being an indie author in general, is that I get to meet and become friends with so many awesome writers.

I was going to compile a big list of writers who you should be reading, but I don’t want to leave anyone out accidentally. So, here’s the deal: In the comments tell me about a writer that you are thankful for and why I should read them. I’ll randomly pick three winners from the comments when INDIEgiving is over and gift them any indie e-book of their choice from Amazon, BN, or Smashwords.
