Stacey Wallace Benefiel is the author of the Zellie Wells trilogy, the Day of Sacrifice series, and The Toilet Business, a collection of humorous essays. She lives in an orange house in Beaverton, OR with her poet/optician husband, their two crazy children, their gassy dog, and her two ancient cats.

When she’s not writing, locking herself out of her Facebook account, or getting the kids apple juice, Stacey likes to read, help out at the local community theatre, and watch a lot of bad TV.
